Irish Deaflympics Team visited Aras an Uactaráin house
21st October 2009
On Tuesday 13th October the Irish Deaflympics Team was invited to visit Aras na Uachtarián and met President Mary McAleese who shook hands very warmly saying that she was very proud of all with their achievement at the 21st summer Deaflympics. Our Irish swimmer, Eoin Nolan showed her his two medals. She then posed with all for a group photo and had a chat with everyone for over 20 minutes. IDSA President, Larry Coogan presented her with a memento of our visit and IDSA's 40 years History Book.

IDSA 41st AGM
8th October 2009
This is to confirm that IDSA 41st AGM will take place at Dublin Deaf Club on the 21 November at 2.15pm.
Due to arising suggesions regarding the new constitution due to come in force on 1 January 2010, we have decided to have An Extraordinary Meeting (EGM) on the same day, which will start at 1.30pm. Only “management” to be discussed.
As per IDSA constitution, IDSA EC’s term is about to end and please find enclosed the following list of seeking re-election for their position. Please note that all IDSA EC’s positions are open to all.
