Disciplinary measures and appeals are dealt with in compliance with the
current FIFA Disciplinary Code (FDC) and the relevant FIFA circular(s).
Article 1. Yellow and Red cards
1. As a rule, a player who is sent off from the field of play is suspended
for the next match in the competition. The Control and IDSA
Disciplinary Body is entitled to augment this punishment. For the
serious offence, the punishment can be extended to all IDSA
competition categories.
2. Single caution from group matches in the Competition expires on the
completion of the Championships and shall not carry forward to the
subsequent Championships in 2012.
3. Caution and pending yellow card suspension from the Championships
expire at the end of the competition.
4. The following fines have been determined:
(a) Yellow card €5
(b) Yellow - red card €10
(c) Red card €20
For gross offences the IDSA officials may determine a higher appropriate
fine.
Article 2. Protests
1. Subject to the following provisions, protests are objections of any
kind to occurrences that have a direct effect on matches organised in
the final competitions of the 2011 IDSA Inter-Provincial
Championships™ (state and markings of the pitch, accessory match
equipment, eligibility of players, stadium installations etc.).
2. Unless otherwise stipulated in this article, protests shall first be
submitted in writing to the IDSA Officials within 60 minutes of the
match together with protest fee of €50 and followed up immediately
with a full written report in English, including a copy of the original
protest, to be sent in writing to the IDSA Football Director during the
final competition.
3. Protests against any incidents that occur during the course of a match
shall be made to the referee by the team captain immediately after
the disputed incident and before play has been resumed. The
protests shall be confirmed in writing to the IDSA Football Director by
the head of the team delegation no later than one hour after the
match, together with protest fee of €50.
4. No protests may be made against the referee’s decisions regarding
facts connected with play, such decisions being final.
5. Once the final match of the 2011 IDSA Inter- Provincial Championships
Cork™ has ended, any protests described in this article shall be
disregarded.
Article 3. Laws of the Game
1. Matches are played in conformity with the current FIFA Laws of the
Game.
2. Panels, numbered on both sides for clarity, shall be used to indicate:
(a) The substitution of players; Five(5) substitutes allowed per game
(b) The number of minutes to be allowed for lost.
3. In the case of any discrepancy in the interpretation of the Laws of the
Game, the English version is authoritative.
Article 4. Duration of matches, extra time, determining the winner by
penalty kicks
1. All matches shall be played for seventy (70) minutes. (35 minute
each half).
2. Extra time will be played if its draw at full time. 10 minutes each
half for extra time.
3. If the score is level after extra time, penalty kicks shall be taken to
determine the winner, in accordance with the procedure described in
the Laws of the Game.
