Message for Men's Football
17th December 2009

Dear athletic and fellow colleagues!

2007-2009 have been the finest years for the Irish Deaf Sports Association Football team with some good achievements and developments. Most importantly, we have reached more Deaf/hard of hearing Football players than ever.

The successful delivery with bronze medal for the Irish Deaf Football International team in the 6th European Deaf Football in Lisbon, Portugal on June 2007 seems like a dream except that we have the photographs to prove it really did happen!
To see this success for our team and also see the opportunities to become a top level, gain knowledge and experience for the 7th European Deaf Championship in Denmark 2011, 2nd World Deaf Championship in Turkey 2012 and 22nd Summer Deaflymics Games, Athens 2013. May it be the first of many and may it be an inspiration to Irish Deaf Football to become not just good but top
International level!

I am delighted that I already arrange the meeting with Regional Council committees, FAI, club managements, meet the former football directors and currently football management team to discuss about long term plans. I am delighted to say that I appointed new backroom staff and they had an incredible experience with club management. It will be confirmed on I.D.S.A. website on Wednesday 23rd December 2009. I also selected three former international players as new sub-committee with all new ideas especially. Keep on eye with up date news on the IDSA website.

There are four attachments; 4 years plans, 12 months plans and training programme for 2010. Please notice that
you must attend your regional trails on January 2010 and please discuss with your Regional Council manager.

Only ONE TRIAL NEED TO ATTEND!
